Two DSNA members received honors at the annual Delaware Excellence in Nursing Practice Awards on July 15 in Dover. Janice Selekman, professor at the University of Delaware won the Nurse Educator award and Loretta Newsom school nurse at the Alfred G. Waters Middle School won the Community -Based award.  The Delaware Nurses Association and the Delaware Organization of Nurse Executive hosted the event that recognize those in the nursing field who consistently promote, excel, and bring a positive approach to their area of nursing practice.
